Com a chegada do Pix, as transações e movimentações bancárias ficaram muito mais rápidas e fáceis de fazer. Esse resource que está presente no dia a dia dos brasileiros facilitou muito na hora de transferir dinheiro, mas essa agilidade às vezes pode ser um problema.

What do I do to cancel a Pix?
It is important to highlight that there are rules for canceling Pix, so see which situations allow the user to question:
- Operational failure;
- Purchase regret;
- Fraud.
In other words, incorrect transfers are not accepted, so always be careful when making a Pix. Although it is not possible to dispute this situation in most cases, there are banks that offer insurance against this, but check what the requirements are and whether you are in fact entitled to the benefit.
In the case of buyer's remorse, the Consumer Protection Code guarantees that a person can regret a purchase. Thus, for purchases made online or by telephone, the regret period is seven days, counting from the day the product is received.
If you regret a purchase made in a physical store, you can cancel it in the event of an irreparable defect in the product or exchange it.
Beware of scams
Nowadays, scams involving Pix are increasingly common and with that in mind, Proteste, the Brazilian Consumer Defense Association, has some tips to protect yourself, check it out:
- Cheque os dados antes de fazer uma transação, se eles não forem compatíveis com o que você deseja não transfira o dinheiro;
- Do not trust transfer requests from people and contacts you do not know;
- Be careful with WhatsApp messages, several scams occur through the messaging app.
