Starting October 18, Caixa Econômica Federal will make the new Bolsa Família installment available to more than 21 million enrollees. Thus, this is the tenth payment of the year, released based on the final digit of the Social Identification Number (NIS).
October brings two new developments to the Bolsa Família program: the start of the additional R$ 50 payment for children up to six months of age (nursing mothers) and the return of the Auxílio Gás payment for 5.63 million Brazilians.

Families approved to receive the benefit in October can check whether the payment has been brought forward in their municipality. As in the previous month, the deposit will be brought forward for 160,000 families in Rio Grande do Sul.

First, access Caixa Econômica Federal’s Citizen Portal at https://cidadao.caixa.gov.br/.
Step 2: Log In
Use your access credentials, which may be the same ones used for the Caixa Trabalhador and Bolsa Família apps, including the password for Caixa Tem.
Step 3: Check your Bolsa Família
Once logged in, look for the option to check benefits or payments. In this section, you can check whether your payment has been released, blocked, canceled, or whether there are pending amounts.
What is the Payment calendar?
The Bolsa Família payment calendar in October begins on October 18 for beneficiaries with NIS 1 and continues until October 31, when families with NIS 0 receive their payments.
The government announced that payment would be brought forward for 79 municipalities affected by the extratropical cyclone that hit Rio Grande do Sul in September. Therefore, more than 160,000 beneficiaries will be able to withdraw the October installment on the first date of the calendar (10/18), regardless of the final digit of their NIS and the date listed in the table.
Additionally, payment will be brought forward for two groups of beneficiaries whose payments are scheduled for Mondays: NIS 4 and NIS 9. Thus, these beneficiaries will have the installment released in Caixa Tem on the preceding Saturday.
