Credit card accounts for 32.9% of debts in THIS state

According to data from Serasa As of last Friday (13), 32.9% of debtors in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul are in debt with credit cards. Thus, the Default Map found that this is the big villain for some people.

32.9% of the population of Mato Grosso faces credit card debt

As mentioned before, a large portion of the population of Mato Grosso do Sul is in debt with credit card companies. This is because many people still end up getting lost when using this resource

To use a credit card, you need to have a financial plan, so as not to use more credit than you have available and end up in debt at the end of the month. Contrary to what many people think, credit cards can offer advantages to those who use them, such as: 

  • Ease of purchase;
  • Better payment options;
  • Agility;
  • Security;
  • Emergencies. 

In other words, it is important to have a plan to be able to enjoy this resource in an intelligent way.

In addition to credit card debts, the population of Mato Grosso do Sul also has:

  • Financial debts (16.6%);
  • Retail purchases (15.2%).

The average monthly spending of these people reaches R$4,924 and the most insolvent are between 26 and 40 years old, that is, 36.1% of the population. Next is the age group between 41 and 60 years old, representing 34.7% of the population, and finally people over 60 years old (16.8%). 

The survey also analyzed the entire country and found that Brazil has seen an increase in the number of people who are unable to pay their bills. As a result, 71.74 million Brazilians are in default, 320 thousand more than the number recorded in August of this year.

The research revealed that the most indebted states are:

  • Amapá;
  • Federal District;
  • Rio de Janeiro;
  • Amazon;
  • Rondônia.
