Understanding the R$ 900 payment from Caixa Tem
The R$ 900 amount consists of the regular R$ 600 payment, plus an additional R$ 300. This extra is the combination of two benefits: the Early Childhood Benefit (BPI) and the Family Variable Benefit (BVF). The BPI provides R$ 150 for families with children aged 0 to 6, while the BVF offers R$ 50 for families with children and teenagers aged 7 to 18, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers.
In addition, both benefits are cumulative, meaning that a family can receive both simultaneously, depending on its composition. Thus, it is possible to receive an even higher amount than usual.
How do you know if you will receive it?
Caixa Econômica Federal is responsible for distributing the installments, using a calendar based on the last digit of the family's head's Social Identification Number (NIS). Thus, payments are made directly into the Caixa Tem digital account.
For example, on Friday (27), beneficiaries with an NIS ending in 7 were supposed to receive the amount. The calendar continues until October 31, benefiting different groups each day.
