Bolsa Família payments for the month of November began on the 17th. As always, the criterion used to determine the order in which payments will be received is the final digit of the citizen's NIS (Social Identification Number).
Bolsa Família is the Federal Government's income transfer program. This initiative serves the purpose of financially assisting families in situations of social vulnerability. Currently, every family nucleus is guaranteed a minimum monthly amount of R$1,600.

What amounts does Bolsa Família pay?
Bolsa Família is based on the Citizenship Income Benefit (BRC), in the amount of R$142 per family member. As already mentioned, however, the law currently guarantees a minimum of R$600 per household. This means that if the BRC does not guarantee this, the family will still receive an additional amount.

The program also works today with an extra R$ 150 for children up to 7 years old, as well as R$ 50 for pregnant women (children and adolescents between 7 and 18 years old also guarantee an extra R$ 50).
