Extraordinary Bolsa Família: government announces advance payment for some holders.

Recently, the Federal Government announced its intention to make an extraordinary payment of Bolsa Família.

According to information from the Ministry of Social Development (MDS), this special action will be an advance on the amounts usually granted. Thus, on this occasion, the benefit will benefit families in 50 different municipalities.

Therefore, the extraordinary Bolsa Família will begin on October 18, a Wednesday. This advance will allow 640,106 families to withdraw the amounts earlier.

The main motivation for this measure was to provide assistance to families in Amazonas. The state is currently facing a declared state of emergency.

The main idea behind this action is to provide vital support to vulnerable families, facilitating access to Bolsa Família resources.

Beneficiaries will receive their payments routinely, based on the last digit of their Social Identification Number (NIS).

Who is entitled to Bolsa Família?

First, it is worth highlighting that Bolsa Família aims to support vulnerable families. The program helps families in need, promoting health, education and reducing poverty in Brazil.

However, to enjoy the benefits, families must meet certain requirements. They must also fulfill certain commitments, especially in the areas of health and education.

In terms of health, pregnant women must constantly monitor their prenatal care to ensure their health and that of the fetus.

It is essential that all families follow the national vaccination schedule. This way, they can ensure that their members, especially children, are vaccinated.

Another requirement of Bolsa Família is nutritional monitoring. The nutritional health of children under 7 years of age must be monitored frequently to prevent and treat nutritional problems.

In education, children aged 4 to 5 need to have at least 60% of school attendance. While those aged 6 to under 18, who have not yet completed basic education, need a minimum attendance of 75%.

Furthermore, families must keep their data updated in the Single Registry every 24 months, at most.

Keeping data up to date ensures that Bolsa Família serves those who really need it and promotes effective communication between the government and beneficiaries.

Failure to comply with these rules may result in suspension or termination of benefits.

Municipalities and dates of the extraordinary benefit

The current drought in the Amazon is becoming the worst on record. So far, 60 of 62 municipalities have faced serious consequences from this drought.
