Certainly! Let’s make more changes while preserving the essence of the information: The Federal Government has begun disbursing the August payment for Bolsa Família. This prominent Brazilian support program aims to reach 21.14 million households across the country during this period.
According to information from the government itself, this month’s benefit will have an average value of R$ 686.04 nationwide. This amount is marginally higher than July’s R$ 684.17, but it does not reach the maximum recorded in June, which was R$ 705.40.
In June, Bolsa Família distributed a record amount, becoming the first month to exceed R$ 700 per beneficiary. The amounts in the following months, July and August, did not reach this maximum, but they were still highly important for participants, especially with the addition of extra bonuses.

The federal government is committed to providing at least R$ 600 to each Bolsa Família beneficiary. Therefore, this is the guaranteed minimum amount, except for those who chose the Payroll-Deducted Loan, as the installments of this loan are deducted directly.
However, it is relevant to point out that there is a provision within Bolsa Família called the Citizenship Income Benefit. Essentially, it stipulates R$ 142 for each family member registered in the Single Registry (CadÚnico).
Under this guideline, families consisting of a single member would receive R$ 142 per month. However, with the base guarantee of R$ 600, the government makes up the difference. This increase is applied to families with up to four members, which, according to the rule, would receive up to R$ 568 (R$ 142 x 4) monthly.
For households with more than four people, the total amount received already exceeds R$ 600. For example, a household with five members totals R$ 710 (R$ 142 x 5). If it consists of ten people, it reaches R$ 1,420 (R$ 142 x 10).
Average Bolsa Família amount:
The Lula government emphasized that the Northeast was home to the largest number of beneficiaries in August. In fact, 9.68 million households in the region will receive support, covering all 1,794 local municipalities.
Next comes the Southeast, with 6.3 million households served across 1,668 municipalities. The other regions reported smaller figures: North (2.57 million), South (1.44 million) and Central-West (1.13 million).
Although the Northeast stood out in terms of quantity, the distribution of average amounts showed a different scenario. See the average ticket per region in August:
North: R$ 723.02;
Central-West: R$ 695.51;
South: R$ 682.53;
Northeast: R$ 681.89;

Generally speaking, the North led the way in August and has remained so for several cycles, surpassing the rest of Brazil.
