Having problems with your Bolsa Família being blocked? We are here to help. However, before learning how to restore this assistance, it is crucial to understand the reasons that lead to these blocks in some program registrations.
Since the beginning of the year, reviews of Bolsa Família accounts have been carried out to detect records with possible irregularities. The program subsequently removes these records. In April, for example, the Ministry of Social Development and the Fight Against Hunger blocked the benefits of around 1.2 million people.

Since the reviews began, beneficiaries have shown concern. Those whose amounts were blocked are eagerly looking for a way to return to the program.
Therefore, we will provide a guide to unblocking the benefit, although we cannot promise that former beneficiaries will be accepted again. This is due to the need for a new data check.
The first action to be taken is to visit a Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS) in person, carrying an official photo ID and proof of residence. Other documents will be required for the visit to the CRAS, such as:
- Voter registration card or CPF of the representative of the beneficiary family;
- Identification of each family member (preferably CPF);
- Proof of school enrollment for the children and adolescents in the family.
After submitting these documents at the CRAS, the beneficiary can request the unblocking. A new check will be carried out. If readmitted to the program, it will be necessary to wait 45 days until Bolsa Família payments resume.
How to check your benefit?
