INSS has issued a warning to beneficiaries who wish to apply for maternity pay, in order to prevent fraud. Learn more!
The National Social Security Institute (INSS) has issued a warning for those who intend to apply for maternity pay, as some online platforms and social networks have been promoting themselves as channels for applying for the benefit. However, such means are not official and may compromise users' data security.
Therefore, the Institute emphasizes that it does not use intermediaries to release maternity pay and does not impose fines or charges for granting the amount. Thus, insured individuals should avoid providing personal data on websites of dubious origin. See how to apply for the benefit through INSS!
