The 2024 Gas Aid already has its dates scheduled, starting in February. Considering that the benefit is granted every two months and that the last installment was distributed in December, January will not have payments.
One change that is expected to happen is a decrease in the value of the next month. As the government had announced, in 2024 the value of the installment should fall to 50% of the value of the 13kg cylinder.

February Calendar
It is important to note that this benefit covers more than 5.4 million families throughout Brazil. Therefore, the Gas Aid calendar will continue to follow the Bolsa Família program next year. See the full calendar for the February benefit:
- NIS final 1 – February 16;
- NIS final 2 – February 19;
- NIS final 3 – February 20;
- NIS final 4 – February 21;
- NIS final 5 – February 22;
- NIS final 6 – February 23;
- NIS final 7 – February 26
- NIS final 8 – February 27;
- NIS final 9 – February 28;
- Final NIS 0 – February 29th.
Avoid the suspension of Gas Aid
Ensuring the continuity of the Gas Aid is essential, and to this end, keeping the data updated in the Single Registry for Social Programs (CadÚnico) is crucial. This registry, managed by the federal government, is the source of information that determines eligibility and payment of the benefit.
In other words, anyone who does not update their data is at imminent risk of losing their benefits. Therefore, it is essential to update your data whenever there are changes in family composition, income or other relevant data to ensure the continuity of the Gas Aid.
