Government announces early Bolsa Família payment
For August, the federal government announced early Bolsa Família payments for two groups of beneficiaries. Those who will receive the amount earlier than scheduled are those with NIS numbers ending in 2 and 7.
In short, the government has adopted the strategy of bringing forward payments scheduled for Mondays. Thus, participants receive the amount on the previous Saturday, that is, two days ahead of the official calendar.
The main intention of this measure is to provide the benefit on the weekend, preventing beneficiaries from having to wait until Monday to access the money. Therefore, if you belong to one of these two groups, celebrate, as the August payment will arrive earlier.
Access the benefit through Caixa Tem
To check Bolsa Família, beneficiaries can use the Caixa Tem app. Simply download the app from the mobile phone's app store and log in using your CPF and password. This allows them to use the available features, view their statement, make transactions via PIX, or pay bills.

Learn the base amount of Bolsa Família
The federal government guarantees a minimum payment of R$ 600 for everyone in Bolsa Família. Therefore, the benefit is never less than this amount, except for those who previously opted for the Payroll Loan, since the deductions are applied directly.
However, it is important to mention a specific Bolsa Família rule called the Citizenship Income Benefit. This rule guarantees R$ 142 per family member registered in the Single Registry (CadÚnico).
Considering this guideline, families consisting of just one person are entitled to R$ 142. However, since the guaranteed minimum is R$ 600, the government adds the difference. This applies to families of up to four members.
When the family exceeds four members, the benefit surpasses R$ 600. For example, a family of five members receives R$ 710 per month.
Additional benefits increase the amount received

Although the program guarantees a base amount, there is no established ceiling. Therefore, beneficiaries may receive much more than R$ 600, and this has become common because the government began making additional payments this year.
Check out the extra Bolsa Família benefits:
Early Childhood Benefit: the government pays R$ 150 per child up to six years old.
Variable Family Benefit: ensures an additional R$ 50 for children and adolescents aged 7 to 18, as well as pregnant and breastfeeding women.
Thus, a family of two adults and three children, aged 2, 4, and 6, will receive the base amount of R$ 600, plus R$ 450 for the children (R$ 150 x 3). Therefore, the total amount received will be R$ 1,050. And the amount may increase depending on the number of members and their ages.
In addition, the amount may be even higher if there are more individuals entitled to additional benefits, such as pregnant women or children and young people between the ages of seven and 18.
