Bolsa Família began its payments this Wednesday (18), so beneficiaries with NIS ending in 1 will receive it. Thus, this month the government has something new: an extra amount! Families with babies under seven months old will receive R$ 50 more.
Therefore, see below the complete calendar of benefit and check in detail what this additional value is about.
Extra value of Bolsa Família
As mentioned before, the BVN (Variable Family Nursing Benefit) is aimed at families with babies, the amount will be R$ 50. Therefore, those who have two children at home will receive double, and those who have three will receive R$ 150.
It is important to highlight that 287,150 families across the country will receive the amount in October. The government is expected to invest R$14 million in the BVN within 6 months.
Other benefits
Bolsa Família pays a minimum of R$600, but in addition to this amount there are other benefits such as an additional R$150 for families with children up to six years old. There is also an additional R$50 for families with children aged 7 to 1 or teenagers aged 12 to 18.
Pregnant and lactating women also receive R$ 50 more of the benefit. In other words, in May of this year the average value of the program was R$ 672.
