Due to the severe drought in the Amazon region, the federal government announced last Wednesday (4) the anticipation of the Bolsa Família and BPC (Continuous Benefit Payment) benefits.
However, the advance payment is only valid for municipalities in Amazonas affected by the drought. The measure aims to minimize the impacts of the drought in the region. In other words, the other regions of Brazil follow the normal schedule of transfers.
Who will receive Bolsa Família first?
55 municipalities in Amazonas will benefit from advance payments. All of these municipalities have been declared a state of emergency by Governor Wilson Lima. Therefore, withdrawals will be available from October 19th.
Therefore, these people will not follow the official calendar scheduled for October, which means that regardless of the NIS number, the withdrawal will be available.
Who is entitled to Bolsa Família?
This is a federal government benefit for families in situations of social vulnerability. Therefore, you must meet certain requirements to receive it, such as:
- Prenatal care for pregnant women;
- School attendance for children and adolescents between 4 and 17 years old;
- Nutritional monitoring of children up to 7 years old;
- Vaccination schedule up to date.
Therefore, if you meet the requirements listed above, you can register with CadÚnico and start receiving benefit payments.
October Calendar
Some families will receive payment in advance, as mentioned above. However, if you are not part of this group of people, check the calendar complete Bolsa Família for the month of October:
- NIS final 1 – October 18;
- NIS final 2 – October 19;
- NIS final 3 – October 20;
- NIS final 4 – October 23;
- NIS final 5 – October 24;
- NIS final 6 – October 25;
- NIS final 7 – October 26;
- NIS final 8 – October 27;
- NIS final 9 – October 30;
- NIS ending 0 – October 31st.
