The Gas Voucher is a program from the Federal Government that aims to assist low-income families in the purchase of cooking gas cylinders. The benefit is R$110.00 and is paid bimonthly every two months.
To be eligible for Vale-Gás, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be registered in CadÚnico (Single Registry for Federal Government Social Programs);
- Have a monthly per capita family income equal to or less than half the national minimum wage (R$ 606.00 in 2024);
- Have updated CadÚnico data in the last 2 years.

The Vale-Gás can be used in any commercial establishment that sells cooking gas. The benefit is credited to a Caixa Econômica Federal social card and can be used to purchase cooking gas cylinders of up to 13 kg.
