To register for Gas Aid in 2024, interested parties must follow some essential steps. First, it is necessary to be registered in the Single Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government (CadÚnico).

Registration in CadÚnico
To register with CadÚnico, families must go to their city hall or a Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS) and present the necessary documentation, which generally includes ID, CPF, proof of residence and income, work card and NIS number (Social Identification Number).
Therefore, families wishing to benefit from the Gas Aid must meet certain eligibility criteria. They must have a monthly per capita income of up to half the minimum wage and at least one family member between the ages of 5 and 17.
In addition, it is important to have an empty gas cylinder in your home to exchange for a full cylinder with the help of Vale Gás.
February Gas Aid Calendar
It is important to note that the Gas Aid calendar will continue to follow the Bolsa Família next year. Therefore, see the complete calendar for the February benefit:

Previous Gas Aid Payments
It is important to note that this benefit covers more than 5.4 million families throughout Brazil. The granting occurs every two months, with the last one being in October. In this context, there is great expectation regarding the amount to be made available in this next installment.
Previously, the value considered 100% of the national average price of a 13kg gas cylinder. Therefore, in December, this value was R$ 104, but, as said before, this will change soon.
