The Brazilian government has announced a new financial aid of R$1,400,000, intended for thousands of Brazilians in 2024. Thus, this benefit, part of the “Agentes da Cidadania” program, is managed by the Secretariat of Social Development and aims to offer monthly support to women in situations of economic and social vulnerability.
In addition to financial assistance, the program includes the implementation of social activities and strategic meetings to help beneficiaries overcome daily adversities. In addition, it is necessary to be the only member of the family to receive the benefit, be registered in the Single Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government (CadÚnico) and be receiving family support from Social Assistance units.
