Voa Brasil is coming soon; see details about the program

Although the Voa Brasil Program is already generating expectations, its official launch has not yet taken place. Currently, the program is in the final adjustment phase, as highlighted by the government. Silvio Costa Filho, the Minister of Ports and Airports, announced that the program is scheduled to start in early 2024.

Since the announcement of the project, many Brazilians have been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to purchase airline tickets at more affordable prices. The ministry continues to be in dialogue with the government and plans to present the program in the coming days. Although initially scheduled for 2023, Voa Brasil has undergone revisions and its launch has been postponed.

How will Voa Brasil work?

As mentioned before, the program is for INSS retirees and pensioners who earn up to R$6,800. Thus, Voa Brasil's idea is to make tickets available at R$200 through an application that is under development.

Furthermore, the platform is a partnership between the federal government and airlines. According to Márcio França, former Minister of Ports and Airports, the three largest airlines in Brazil (Azul, GOL and Latam) have already agreed to participate in the initiative.

Now, just wait for the launch of Voa Brasil to get tickets at cheaper prices.

Release date

According to Costa Filho, the ministry is still in talks with the government and the program should be presented in the next few days. It is worth noting that in October the minister said that the program would be ready by 2023. However, Voa Brasil needed adjustments and was extended.

Beware of Voa Brasil scams

Even though the program has not yet been launched, criminals are already using social media to send fake links to Brazilians. So, be careful and do not buy tickets via WhatsApp, Facebook or through links sent by unknown contacts.

Furthermore, if you receive a suspicious message or call, report it to official government channels, such as:
