How do I register for My Home My Life?

The process may vary depending on each family's income bracket. In the case of Bracket 1, people must access the government's housing plan to register, which can be done at city halls.

In the case of bands 2 and 3, the interested party must look for an organizing entity that participates in Minha Casa Minha Vida. Contacting Caixa Econômica Federal is also an option.

What will change in 2024?

Minha Casa Minha Vida is a federal government program that helps Brazilians achieve their dream of owning their own home. Recently, the program underwent changes and began exempting the payment of installments for Bolsa Família and BPC (Continuous Benefit Payment) beneficiaries.

Furthermore, another great novelty is that now more people will be able to access the benefit, as the government is studying the possibility of increasing the program's income range by up to R$12,000.

In addition to providing affordable housing, the program seeks to promote improvements in living conditions. “Minha Casa, Minha Vida” housing often has adequate infrastructure, such as basic sanitation, access to public services and leisure areas.

It is worth noting that the program operates through partnerships between the federal government, state and municipal governments, construction companies and financial institutions. Thus, construction companies build housing projects, and financial institutions, such as Caixa Econômica Federal, offer financing with subsidized interest rates.
