Guarujá will gain more than 300 homes from the Minha Casa Minha Vida program

The Minha Casa Minha Vida project will deliver 394 homes in the city of Guarujá, on the coast of São Paulo. Thus, 250 units will go to the old Portobello development, in the Morrinhos neighborhood. The other 144 will be destined for Cantagalo.

Therefore, see more details about delivery and the program below.

New My Home My Life units

According to the Guarujá City Hall, the families selected for the 394 new homes receive social support and are already registered with the municipal administration, through the Municipal Housing Secretariat (Sehab).

As previously stated, the homes in the Morrinhos neighborhood will be for former residents of the area known as 'Ponte do Munhoz'. The homes in Cantagalo will be for families who occupy areas designated for housing production in the neighborhood itself and on the road system.

Therefore, it is worth highlighting that the benefit extends to those covered by the Social Rental program, residents of Cantagalo and people from risk regions.

About the program

Minha Casa Minha Vida is a federal government program that helps Brazilians achieve their dream of owning their own home. Recently, the program underwent changes and began exempting the payment of installments for Bolsa Família and BPC (Continuous Benefit Payment).

Furthermore, another great novelty is that now more people will be able to access the benefit, as the government is studying the possibility of increasing the program's income range by up to R$12,000.
