Voa Brasil is expected to launch in January next year

Last Tuesday (14) Silvio Costa Filho, Minister of Ports and Airports, stated that Voa Brasil will be available in early 2024. Since the project emerged, Brazilians have been eager to have access to tickets at lower prices.

About the release

According to Costa Filho, the ministry is still in talks with the government and the program should be presented in the next few days. It is worth noting that in October the minister said that the program would be ready by 2023. However, Voa Brasil needed adjustments and was postponed.

How will Voa Brasil work?

The program is for retirees and pensioners of INSS who earn up to R$ 6.8 thousand. Thus, Voa Brasil's idea is to make tickets available at R$ 200 through an application that is under development.

Furthermore, the platform is a partnership between the federal government and airlines. According to Márcio França, former Minister of Ports and Airports, the three largest airlines in Brazil (Azul, GOL and Latam) have already agreed to participate in the initiative.

Now, just wait for the program to be launched to get tickets at cheaper prices.

Beware of Voa Brasil scams

Even though the program has not yet been launched, criminals are already using social media to send fake links to Brazilians. Criminals operate through social media or even by phone, announcing fake discounts on tickets.

So, be careful and don't buy tickets via WhatsApp, Facebook or via links sent by unknown contacts.

Furthermore, if you receive a suspicious message or call, report it to official government channels, such as:
