Minha Casa Minha Vida has undergone recent changes that have benefited many people. This is because it was defined that Bolsa Família and BPC (Continuous Benefit Payment) beneficiaries are exempt from paying the program's installments.
This is not the only new development, as Jader Filho, Minister of Cities, said last Tuesday (7) that the government is studying the possibility of increasing the program's income range by up to R$12,000.
Therefore, see below all the details of this possible change and check out the other news from program.
Statement by Jader Filho about My House My Life
The statement was made during the weekly live broadcast of EBC (Empresa Brasileira de Comunicação), together with President Lula. Jader Filho highlighted that the government is discussing with Caixa the possibility of extending an income range up to R$12,000.
According to him, the idea is to serve more families and he stated that the more people realize their dream of owning their own home, the better it will be. It is worth noting that this idea is not new, since in June of this year President Lula had already said that the government needed to expand the income range.
Furthermore, Lula highlighted that Minha Casa Minha Vida should also be expanded to the middle class.
